Overview
I am a PhD student supervised by Dr. Ignasi Marco, Dr. Lourdes Migura and Dr. Óscar Cabezón (Autonomous University of Barcelona, UAB). I will be investigating antimicrobial resistance presence and transmission at the livestock-wildlife-human interface in Uganda, Africa.
Background
I completed a Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Medicine at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (Spain) in 2017. During my undergraduate thesis I studied the role of several vector-borne pathogens in pestivirus infected
Pyrenean chamois.
In 2018, I started an Internship of the Wildlife Population Health Residency Program (UAB). During this experience, I expanded my knowledge on the pathology, epidemiology, ecology and control of wild animal diseases.
